This week continues the massive content push for Alpha 5. Alpha 5 is on track to add an additional 25% more content to the overall game involving more ship events, more interactions with the crew and more chances to get your crew members into danger as you explore and learn more about the galaxy.
Alpha 4.0 exposed a lot of things that were missing and a ton of bugs. With community feedback and help a lot of these issues have been squashed which really allows development to get back on track and the game to be what it truly was meant to become.
Alpha 5 should contain the major combat balance. For the most part a lot of the system isn't changing however it should no longer confuse players why their health and enemies health differed so much along with the amount of damage that was produced from each attack. This should hopefully streamline things a bit and make the player feel less overwhelmed at the start by being confused by the numbers.
As stated previously Alpha 5 will contain 25% more content for users. This should help with more choices and new events to really help give a greater sense of exploration as the game is played. With a lot of additions made to make each sector event maintain their own individuality, this should help add more flavor and intense decision making that could possibly cause you to lose your crew.
