Dev Blog 65 - Scheduling Changes

Crew Schedule Changes

The schedule system will be updated in 6.2 to bring the scheduling system more inline with providing gameplay benefits instead of purely based around real simulation values.  The overall speed of shifts have been increased by over 50% given more time to react and to work when needed. 

Due to this change the scheduling system has been changed to "shifts" instead of the normal hours of the day.  The reasoning behind this provides a more reasonable explanation for why stats are increasing or decreasing at more of a game like pace versus more realistic values like hunger and sleep dropping based on normal human averages and times of day.

This should provide a better gameplay feel however those who liked the closeness to realism may not enjoy the change.  This will be monitored to ensure this is working as expected.
