Alpha V1.5 is now up. The latest build focuses on several of the ships object updates.
Tracking all of changes in the previous weeks have been a bit daunting as far as how well your crew is actually performing. In order to do so you had to drill deeply into the data or keep a watchful eye on your shields and weapons to see their power growing. Overall it resulting in a more clicking and work then was intended. To help alleviate this and aid in some of the confusion, room monitors were added to help visually show at a quick glance what is being produced.
In the image below for instance you can see that 3 units of weapon power is being produced and 2 units of shields are being made from your crew. Based on their skill levels and the morale this value can greatly increase. As with everything in the game clicking on the monitors will open an additional UI menu to see all the data in a detailed clear numerical format.
These monitors also extend to other rooms as well such as the cafeteria. The number of meals available in the room are easily tracked. This functionality works for other rooms as well such as the bar and med bay (when unlocked) to keep track of the number of readily avaiable supplies.
The rooms are set to automatically refill using the ship supplies however you can disable this functionality to manage your resources wherever you feel is the optimal place to spend them all via clicking the monitor and changing the room settings.
The bar's jukebox has now been updated with a total of 6 tracks to listen to while on the ship.
